This event is a fitness-focused skate on the Minuteman Rail Trail for skaters of all abilities. It is held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m., starting at the end of April and going through August. This is a good choice for new skaters in general, since it is at your own pace and on a flat smooth surface.

This skate offers both new and veteran skaters a quiet, easy, and routine way to exercise on skates. It requires no mapping of routes and minimal safety concerns. It's a great opportunity to meet new people and get involved in the club.

Skaters gather on the path just north of Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington Center (Route 60 and Massachusetts Avenue) around 6:00 pm and leave promptly at 6:30 p.m. The skate goes in the direction of Bedford. Every skater proceeds at his/her own pace, and goes as far as he/she wishes before turning around and heading back to Arlington Center. If they like, skaters can continue beyond Lexington Center to Bedford and back.

Participants must wear helmets and wrist guards, and complete safety gear is encouraged. The skate will be cancelled due to rain or other bad weather, with no notification posted.
